Policies

Scheduling & Services

An initial consultation, Meet & Greet must be scheduled before any services are provided for new clients. All services must be booked through the client portal, Time To Pet. In the app you can: request services, view upcoming appointments, update your contact and pet information, view your invoices, and read/reply to post-service updates. Requests made through social media, text or email will not be confirmed, and you will be directed to the Time To Pet booking portal.

Cancellation Policy

Daily Visits/Dog Walks (weekly reoccurring bookings / non-vacation visits):  If cancelled by 7pm the day before you will receive a refund or a credit will be applied to your account. Cancellations made after 7pm the day before service or made on the day of service will not receive a refund or credit, and your account will be charged the service price.

Vacation Visits: If cancelled 7 days or more before the scheduled start date a credit for the total amount will be applied to your account for future services; if cancelled 3-6 days before the scheduled start date there will be a 50% charge; if cancelled within 48 hours the client will be charged full price. There will be no refunds or credits for early returns from vacations. Katie's Pet Pals, LLC will be as flexible as possible based on unforeseen circumstances (family emergency, inclement weather, etc.).

 

Overnight Care (Boarding, House Sitting, Overnight Pet Sitting): If cancelled 7 days or more before scheduled start date a credit for the total amount will be applied to your account for future services; if cancelled 3-6 days before scheduled start date there will be a 50% charge; if cancelled within 48 hours the client will pay full price. There will be no refunds or credits for early returns from vacations. Katie's Pet Pals, LLC will be as flexible as possible based on unforeseen circumstances (family emergency, inclement weather, etc.).

Medications & Vaccines

Katie's Pet Pals, LLC requires that all pets be current on necessary vaccinations, county licenses, and flea/tick preventatives before service begins and will not service any pet that has contagious illnesses.

Payments

Payment is due in full, prior to services starting. Services are not confirmed until payment is received. Payments are only accepted through our client portal, Time To Pet. If you have a credit card on file, your account will be charged after services are completed.

Holidays

Holidays include New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. 

Visits & Dog Walks on Holidays: There will be $5 additional fee to each visit or walk

Overnight Care on Holidays: There will be a $25 additional fee 

Katie's Pet Pals, LLC appreciates your understanding that holidays are peak booking times for pet services. Please book as far in advance as possible. There are no refunds given for cancellations within a week.

Boarding 

Dogs are allowed on all furniture, and will have indoor and outdoor supervised playtime. Pick up & Drop off arrangements are by appointment only, and must be scheduled in advance.

Katie's Pet Pals, LLC will provide dog beds, blankets, crates (if needed), bowls, toys & treats; you are permitted to bring your own.

Client is responsible to provide food & medications. There will be a $25 additional fee if food is not provided, or the client will be billed for food purchased plus a $10 additional fee.
